Does Bassett furniture rust?
Our furniture is made of aluminum and will not rust. All hardware is made of stainless steel and will not rust.
Are frames cast iron?
No, our products are made of extruded and cast aluminum.
Does furniture arrive assembled?
Yes, our furniture arrives fully assembled.
Why does fabric choice change the price of furniture?
Yes, price can change based on your fabric choice. Sling furniture has very little change. Cushion furniture will have very little change in solid color choices, patterned fabrics will generally be a higher price point.
Are less expensive fabric choices lower quality than higher priced?
No, all fabrics are constructed of the same quality and tested to meet strength and UV fade resistance regardless of price. We use fabrics from industry leaders Sunbrella, Phifer, Outdura, and Twitchell.
Do you have furniture in stock ready to ship?
Our products are custom made to your specific frame finish and fabric choice and we do not keep finished products in stock. From time to time we will have an inventory of overruns or changed order furniture immediately available, please contact your account manager for more information.
How long does it take to ship my order?
After order process is finalized, orders usually ship in 4-6 weeks.
Do you offer expedited orders?
Yes, we offer expedited orders to meet a specific deadline you may have, please contact your account manager for details
Does delivery driver unload and set up my furniture by pool?
No, you will be responsible for assisting in unloading. The freight company will deliver to the curbside of your property. We do offer delivery & set up service. This service gives you a no-touch delivery option. Contact your account manager for more information.
Do you offer replacement parts for your furniture?
Yes, we offer replacement parts such as slings, glides, and cushions.
Can you furniture be placed in water?
Yes, but if placed in a salt water pool you will need to remove for cleaning periodically.
Do tanning oils affect your fabrics?
Some tanning oils can, over time, penetrate fabrics and discolor. It is suggested to clean your furniture on a regular basis by the water hose.
Can I swap cushions for a different fabric after I receive my order?
All cushions are custom made and non-returnable. You may order more cushions if you like.
Can you send me paint and fabric samples?
Do you offer samples of the furniture we are wanting to purchase?
Yes, we will gladly produce a single item(s) from your quote in the colors you selected. You will be billed for the item(s) including freight charges. If you choose to order we will waive the freight charge, and pieces you receive will be part of your order. However, if you do not order you will be responsible for paying for the sample(s) and freight charges.
Why does your furniture cost more than big box retailers that sell outdoor furniture?
Our furniture is built to commercial standards. You are investing in superior quality furniture that will give your property many years of use. Box store products are built with lower grade materials that will not last in commercial use environments.
